I have always been interested in music since high school. During the pandemic, I had time to compose songs. I released “Paralize Dusler” as my first EP.

HackerOne is the world’s biggest bug bounty platform, headquartered in San Francisco. I worked on their triage team to assess vulnerabilities for some of the world's largest organizations. It was a fun ride for me.

I’ve made another presentation at DEF CON, titled "Generating Personalized Wordlists With NLP by Analyzing Tweets."

I presented my research on bypassing IDS systems for the first time at DEF CON’s Packet Hacking Village stage.

I’ve presented a tool called “Leviathan Framework” with my colleague Ozge in Las Vegas. This was my first appearance in the demo sections of DEF CON and Black Hat.

In my last year of university, I worked on ransomware as a hobby. I released the world's first open-source ransomware named Hidden Tear, followed by EDA2. These ransomware strains contained backdoors to decrypt files without payment. A criminal used my open-source code in their activities, and we were able to decrypt the files without payment.

After a few months, I was nominated for the Pwnie Awards in the Best Backdoor category. The Pwnie Awards are the Oscars of the cybersecurity field. The awards are given out once a year in Las Vegas at the BlackHat USA security conference.

I was working as a part-time intern at Sony during my last year at university. The day after my graduation, I started my first full-time job there. The fun part was that my manager and colleagues attended my graduation ceremony, which was a dream for most students.

I graduated from Istanbul Bilgi University with a degree in Computer Engineering. My professors and friends broadened my perspective on computer science.

During my last year at university, my thesis focused on Natural Language Processing. I decided to code software that can write human-like poems in Turkish. During the experiments for my thesis, we gave students different poems written by a human poet and by the AI model ROMTU. As a result, half of the students couldn’t differentiate between human poems and AI poems.

I came first in a CTF competition organized by a company named ADEO, where students competed. This achievement kickstarted my career.

I was born in Adana, Turkey and my family moved to Istanbul before I turned one.
